CORII DIAMOND
ARTIST, CREATIVE, & ENERGY SOURCE
A passionate, intuitive artist originally from Indiana. Creativity has been a driving force in my life since childhood, though I didn't initially realize that art could be a viable career. My first piece shown in a gallery was at the age of 7—a flower made of pastels—marking the early stirrings of my artistic journey. While my artistic talents were clear from a young age, it took years for me to find my way back to art.

After graduating high school at 17, I spent several years running the streets, seeking to find my true path in all the wrong places. At 22, I made a pivotal decision to join the U.S. Army, serving for seven years as a Communications Specialist—a technical role that took me across the globe. Her military experience, including living in Korea for two years and serving an 11-month deployment to Afghanistan, broadened her perspective and allowed her to experience different cultures, which would later influence her art.
Upon completing my military contract after 7 long years, I pursued a degree in computer science. But it wasn’t until I took an art appreciation course that I felt a deep, undeniable pull back to my true passion. This transformative moment led me to switch my major to Studio Art, and I have been creating ever since.

In 2018, Corii was invited to participate in her first art show in Atlanta, and by 2019, she made the city her home. With over eight years of serious artistic practice, Corii continues to evolve, learn, and express herself through her work. Every brushstroke is an opportunity for growth, and her art is a reflection of both her spiritual journey and her unyielding dedication to her craft and education.
